Dryad's Tree biography
DRYAD'S TREE are a progressive metal band with some death metal and atmospheric influences. They were formed in Munich,Germany in 2005.

To quote the band their aim is: "Write stirringly thrilling, dynamic music that takes the listener onto a journey deep inside his inner consciousness."In 2007 DRYAD'S TREE did just that when they independently released their debut, the concept album "Comfort in Silence".

Taking their own brand of progressive metal and mixing it with influences from such bands as OPETH and PORCUPINE TREE the total is far more than just the mere sum of all parts,as they take the influences and run with them, adding a healthy dose of accessibility to their prog, not shying back from acoustic guitars, organ, even some vocal filters here and there, thus adding their own touch.

Highly recommended to fans of Tech/Extreme Prog Metal and Progressive Metal as well.
