Dreamlost biography
DREAMLOST is a progressive metal band from France formed in 1996. They were originally known as Hysteresis and would just play plain heavy metal. They even released a demo under that name in 1998. In 2002 the band made the addition of a keyboard player which marked a change in the band's music. They released their first demo entitled "On the Pathway of a Dream" under the name DREAMLOST in the same year. After playing several shows and gigs the band the band's original keyboard player left but was later replaced by a new member in 2005. In 2004 the band approached Brennus Music to help distribute their material and immediately they started working on what would become their first full length entitled "Outer Reality". The album was released in October 2006.

DREAMLOST's current lineup are founding members Joel Seque (guitar), Arnaud Grandin (vocals, guitar), Laurent Rispoli (bass), David Chapelle (drums) and Alexandra Bruzzo (keyboards). They cite Symphony X, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Liquid Tension Experiment and Evergrey.
