Mindwalk Blvd biography
MINDWALK BLVD is a trio from Boston whose music is a mix of progressive metal and progressive rock.The band members are very young,but are very experienced and talented.16 year old Jordan Ferreira(guitars,vocals)has been recording since the age of 5 and touring and perfomring with his father Jorge Ferreira since the age of 12.Mike Avakian(bass,guitar,keyboards,vocals),also 16,has been playing for 10 years and at 14 started attending classes at the Berklee School of Music.Last but not least is 13 year old drum prodigy Tyler Hudson,who has been playing since the age of 3 and performing since the age of 5,and who is currently studying under Mike Mangini(EXTREME,STEVE VAI).

In 2008 MINDWALK BLVD self released their 6-song EP "Paint the Seconds".MINDWALK BLVD in whole or in part have had the honor to be interviewed and appear on the pages of national publications such as Modern Drummer,Drum and Progression Magazine.They have had TV appearances on Fox 25, WB56,The Discovery Channel as well as commercial spots for the National Guitar Workshop.The band also opened for THE FLOWER KINGS on their US tour on August 27,2008.

Mindwalk Blvd's videos on YouTube have had combined views of over 2 million to date continually earning them fans worldwide.

Citing heavy influences from bands such as DREAM THEATER,RUSH,KANSAS,KINGS X,TOOL,YES,GENESIS and UK,MINDWALK BLVD will be a force to be reckoned with in the prog metal/rock community in the future and they are highly recommended.
