FOLLOWED BY GHOSTS is a five piece instrumental post rock band from the US. They fuse many different genres of music such as prog, ambient, and a considerable amount of punk to their obvious post rock sound. Their debut album "The Entire City Was Silent" was completely recorded in churches, and met much critical acclaim, and their 2008 sophomore attempt "Dear Monsters, Be Patient" was raved about in the post rock community. The use of melodic lead lines, and shorter song lengths make this band much easier to listen to than the "epic" post rock bands such as "GY!BE" or "johnnytwentythree". Fans of Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, and Yndi Halda would be fans of the music for their more easier listening, and positive atmosphere they provide.
