Belegost biography
BELEGOST is a post rock band from the Unites States that formed in 2003 and disbanded back in 2006. The band consisted of Charlie Cottone (guitar, drums), Sal Giorgi (bass, guitar, noises), Allen Hitchens (guitar), Joshua Alvarez (bass) and JD Foster (drums, guitar). In their time of existence BELEGOST only wrote 4 songs of which only 3 were recorded. In 2005 the band released a self - titled EP which contained 2 of the 3 recorded songs. The last song that was recorded appeared on a split EP with the band The Sea, Like Lead released in 2006. Soon afterward bass player Joshua Alvarez departs of the band. Upon his departure Sal Giorgi took over bass duties but it was short lived as the band parted ways after Giorgi left the band.

They later reformed under the name of Mt. Erebus but the project never saw the light of day as nothing ever was recorded and disbanded way too fast. Most of the members of the band are already involved in different musical projects and/or bands.
