Transmission biography
TRANSMISSION is a traditional progressive metal band from Germany consisting of Juan Roos (vocals), Marco Vetter (guitar), Christian Becker (bass), Bodo Schamp (drums) and Stephen Kernbach (keyboards). All the band members have extensive experience in the music scene and are interested in a wide variety of styles, which is reflected in their music.

After fifteen months in production, the band released their debut album in 2006, "Id, Ego and Superego." It consists of 9 tracks and seventy minutes of music that will envelop you in a soundscape that evokes a multitude of emotions. The sixteen minute title track, "Id, Ego and Superego" features Michael Sadler (SAGA) on guest vocals.

The band has also played live in several festivals with acts like CLAWFINGER, TESTAMENT, ENCHANT and FATES WARNING.

TRANSMISSION plays traditional progressive metal, but with an influence of the eclectic mix of ideas that come with the experience and musical backgrounds of the individual band members. They focus on melody and challenging instrumental passages. Should be a welcome addition to SAGA, ENCHANT and VANDEN PLAS fans. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are highly recommended.
