Below The Sea biography
BELOW THE SEA is a post rock band from Canada that started back in 1999. The trio was originally comprised by Patrick Lacharité, Pascal Asselin, and Mathieu Lévesque. In 2000, the band spends 6 months in the studio recording their debut "The Loss of Our Winter" and it was during this time that the band signed to Where Are My Records. It wasn't too long and the band had already gathered some attention around Europe and their home.

The band appeared in several compilations and collaborative efforts which pushed them to release a second album far more proficient, "Les Arbres Dépayseront Davantage" in 2002. Shortly after that, the band released 2 EP's: "Alonelinesses" and Endings before releasing their third album. "Blame it on the Past" was released in October 2005 and featured a new bass player Victor Meyer.
