Ellipsis biography
ELLIPSIS is a progressive metal band from Grenoble, Rhone-Alpes, France consisting of Emmanuelson (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Phil Arm's (guitar), F.L.A. Eklektika (bass, backing vocals) and Man X (drums).

The band recorded two demos "Water's Peacemaker" (1995) and "Immortal Pleasure" (1997) before the self release of the EP "Build the Nation" in 1999.

In 2003, the band released their debut album "Comastory" on Adipocere Records. Thanks to the success of this concept release, the band was able to support OPETH for their French dates of their European tour and began getting attention worldwide. The band began recording their second full length album "From Beyond Thematics" with famous Norwegian producer Terje Refsnes (TRISTANIA, THEATER OF TRAGEDY, NIGHTMARE, MORGUL, SIRENIA to name a few) at Studio Bleu which would be released in 2004 on Adipocere Records.

They recorded their studio album "Imperial Tzadik" that would be released on Thundering Records in November of 2006.

The band has finished recording their fourth studio album "The Grace Decapitated" and should be released sometime in 2009.
