AtaräXia biography
ATARÄXIA is a progressive metal formed in Spain. (Not to be confused with the Italian neo-classical band of the same name). They are rooted in power metal, but their latest release proves they are ultimately progressive.

ATARÄXIA was formed in 2006, and released their self titled debut EP in 2007, and it showed they were more than just a power metal band. The 10-minute closing track will surely impress, as well as covering some of Mozart's work. Their second EP titled "Demo 2008" is more progressive, complex, and shows a wide variety of influences.

This band has only released 2 EP's, but they show a ton of potential, and have a bright future ahead of them. They will appeal to fans of SYMPHONY X, PAIN OF SALVATION, and MERCURY RISING.

Approved by the Progressive Metal Team.
