Divinity biography
DIVINITY is a Canadian progressive death metal act formed in 1999 in Calgary, Alberta. With a progressive approach to melodic death metal DIVINITY should please those who enjoy the more modern approach to the style. The band consists of Sean Jenkins on vocals, James Duncan and Sacha Laskow on guitars, Nick Foster on bass and Brett Duncan on drums. DIVINITY self-released their debut full-length studio album "Allegory" in June 2007. The band signed in a deal with Nuclear Blast Records in 2008 which meant that "Allegory" received a worldwide release through Nuclear Blast in March 2008. DIVINITY released their second full-length studio album "The Singularity" through Nuclear Blast on the 1st of December 2009.

DIVINITY´s inclusion in the Prog Archives database was approved by the Progressive Metal Team.
