Katzen Kapell biography
KATZEN KAPELL are a Swedish band inspired by the works of Zappa, Piazzolla, and Stravinsky. They consist of Catharina Backman on Accordian, Magnus Andersson Lagerqvist on keyboards, Eva Lindal on violin, Gustaf Hielm on double bass, Erik Hammarstrom on drums and Kjell Nordeson on vibraphone. Creating what they themselves call a new style of music, KATZEN KAPELL blend Jazz, Cabaret, Folk, World Music, classical and tango into an experimental and highly unique form of musical exploration. They describe their sound as one that ?transports the listeners to unimaginable musical realms? and they are recommended to the adventurous prog fan.
