LYMBYC SYSTYM is the name of the instrumental & post-rock project by brothers Mike and Jared BELL. Started in 2001, the project works as an extremely collaborative duo, where the basic ideas from one writer are processed and enriched by the other, then passed back for further development and so forth. The end product is always a very well balanced mix of electronic pulsation and organic textures provided by a very diverse set of keyboard, string, percussive and even wind instruments, all built over musical concepts coming from classic post rock: melancholic explorations with climatic explosions, evocative dreamy musical landscapes. A musically consistent and emotionally charged sonic palimpsest.

Enriched for studio recordings and live performances by additional guest musicians, the project has gone pro and successful, releasing two studio albums through Mush Records and touring.

This project is highly recommended to fans of SIGUR ROS, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, RADIOHEAD or BOARDS OF CANADA.
