Pedra biography
Brazilian band PEDRA was formed in 2005, consisting of Rodrigo Hid (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Xando Zupo (vocals, guitars), Luiz Domingues (bass, vocals) and Ivan Scartezini (drums). Their first video clip was given airtime by MTV the same year, and in the sumjmer of 2006 they released their self-titled debut album.

Later in 2006 Pedra opened for legendary UK band Uriah Heep at a festival, and in 2007 they premiered their very own show combining their music with theater and visual arts in a true multimedia performance. In late summer 2008 their second album Pedra II appeared, accompanied by a specially made comic book.

Pedra are currently recording their third full length album. Meanwhile they have made their former albums freely available as digital downloads from their website.
