Cleric biography
Founded in Philadelphia, USA in 2003

CLERIC is an Experimental Metal band that creates a dark melting pot of extreme styles, merging Grindcore with ambient, industrial, noise, doom, sludge and psychedelic elements. It makes them the modern heirs of the post-metal scene, striving to push metal beyond the extreme limits that were previously set by bands such as NEUROSIS, MESHUGGAH, CONVERGE and FANTÔMAS.

The band was formed in 2003 and released their first full length "Regressions" in 2010 after being signed to the Web of Mimicry label. The debut presents the band as an original and uncompromising force on the cutting edge of modern day experimental post-metal.
