Questioner biography
QUESTIONER are a progressive/post-metal band from Baltimore, Maryland. Originally formed in 2005, the band self-released their first album under the name Isthmus before changing to their current monomer in 2010 for the release of their second full-length.

QUESTIONER are among the ranks of a number of up-and-coming metal bands from the upper east coast dabbling heavily in the realms of experimenting with atmospheric sludge and post-hardcore and have toured with like-minded acts such as ROSETTA, EAST OF THE WALL, BALBOA, IREPRESS, and DYSRHYTHMIA. The band has been noted for delving heavily into haunting atmosphere akin to RED SPAROWES and mathy riffing and time-signature experimentation likened to BEHOLD... THE ARCTOPUS. Later material incorporates use of catchy, thrashy riffs similar to early MASTODON and INTRONAUT while also incorporating NEUROSIS-esque dark soul.
