Engrama ([engrama]) biography
[ENGRAMA] is an Argentinian-Spanish post-rock duo consisting of Pupito Abrahams and Lakua Arriaga. The duo emerged as an online project providing live music on the Second Life virtual platform. So far the project has resulted in two releases (a studio album and a live EP) that are both available for free on Bandcamp. The music of [ENGRAMA] is very diverse, ranging from dark and emphatic guitar-lead post rock like that of MOGWAI or GY!BE, to rhythmic metal-infused parts (think of 65DAYSOFSTATIC) and to influences from genres that helped breed post rock in the early days: post-punk, noise-rock, neo-folk. In this respect, ENGRAMA is similar to bands such as the Spanish band MIGALA, BARK PSYCHOSIS, DISCO INFERNO, PRAM or RADIOHEAD.
