FAMILHA ARTÚS (stylized familha Artús) is an experimental avant garde progressive rock band originating in Aquitaine, France. The band plays an interesting blend of experimental, dissonant rock, and tribal and ethnic influences. The band is made up of Pairbon (Roman COLAUTTI) who plays baritone guitar and drums, Roman BAUDOIN, who plays alto hurdy-gurdy, Matèu BAUDOIN, who sings as well as plays violin and flute, Tomàs BAUDOIN, who sings as well as plays boha and percussions, and Shape2 (Nicolas GODIN) who programs and plays drums. The music, as the band puts it, is the musical application of a search for identity. The band's discography is Òmi from 2003, Òrb from 2007, Laboratòri 1 from 2008, L'Estaca from 2009, and Drac from 2010.
