Timesailor biography
TIMESAILOR is a progressive metal band from Ankara, Turkey formed under the name "APOPLEXY" in 2001. The name was changed to potential confusion with the numerous Apoplexys that were emerging around the globe.

The band, as APOPLEXY, gained a following in Turkey early on with their constant touring and festival appearances. The release of their fist demo "Sun Of Paradise" gained the band an international audience, surging their popularity even further.

However, the band's founding vocalist Beren left at this point, and the band found two vocalists, Bulatay GUANES and Damla OZDEMIR to replace him. With the new singers, the band focused on writing and arranging new material. These efforts culminated in the release of their debut album "Once Upon A Time," released November 18, 2011.
