Zrni biography
ZRNI began in 2001 as a group of school acquaintances who shared an interest in playing music and whose early experiences were limited mostly to busking on the streets of Prague. The group evolved into a band, and over time that band became their vocation. While their first album came nearly six years into their existence, the lineup has still remained constant for the past decade. The group has enjoyed some modest successes in their native Czech Republic, including several regional competitions.

The band's music consists mostly of well-constructed compositions that reflect both their classic training and indie-folk sensibilities, touching on both styles but characterized by neither. While the primary instruments for most of the members are orchestral strings (violin, viola, cello) they also include modern rock instrumentation, both acoustic and electric.
