Raptor Konrad biography
RAPTOR KONRAD hail from Ostrava/Czech Republic. The band was founded in 2004 by Marek Burdzik (guitar, vocals), Andrej Kubelka (bass), drummer Libor Weiss and Vítezslav 'Vitus' Jirík (keys). Each member had experiences with playing in different bands before. The basics for their songs come from Burdzik's musical ideas, themes and lyrics originally used for his earlier songs. Although all members are involved Vitus has the leadership concerning the arrangements.

The first mutual compositions could occur during the years 2005 and 2006, oriented at progressive music in general and psychedelic rock especially. In 2009 Karel Kühpast completed the line-up to complement the overall sound on guitar and six-string bass. Soon they started to record songs for the debut album 'Rock Suite: The Mass For The Angel' which then was independently released in 2010.

RAPTOR KONRAD's music lives from elaborated compositions, indicates a blend of heavy rock and cosmic elements featuring spheric synths as well as psychedelic guitars.
