DLGZ Rock 5tet biography
French band DLGZ Rock 5tet, initially known as DLGZ, took shape in it's current guise back in 2002. Philippe Delgrange (bass), Stephane Hayes (vocals, melodica), David Lamblin (guitars, effects), Lawrence Amet (keyboards) and Frédéric Lhomme (drums) have kept at it since then, passing the 100 live performances mark with good margin and shared the stage with numerous acts of local and international origin.

Their recording history kicked off in 2003, resulting in an 11-track recording sold as an EP from 2005 and onwards named An Unexpected Landing. And while financial restraints did limit their expressions for this initial foray into the world of recording artists, they took a step up with the release of the four track EP Rock Music Of Our Own, which gained favourable reviews in the local and national press and also managed to sneak into some radio broadcasts on occasion.

In 2008 the band hit the recording studio again, this time opting for the SOMA studio in Chicago as the perfect place to craft what was to become their official debut album. And in March 2009 the end result was released as New Tricks For Old Dogs. News from the band has been on the quiet side since then, apart from occasional notifications concerning live performances.
