GHOSTS and VODKA is a four-piece instrumental band from Chicago,Illinois formed in 1998 out of CAP'n JAZZ and JOAN of ARC; Victor VILLARREAL(guitar), Sam ZURICK(guitar), Eric BOCEK(bass) and the addition of Scott SHELHAMMER on drums.

With a Math-Rock archetype, G&V create a dense and precise sound that will be welcomed by fans of the genre. Their music defies boundaries by incorporating acoustic flavors, post-rock breaks, and distorted guitar lines. In 2001 they released 'Precious Blood', showing a professional and creative Math sound. 2003's 'Addicts and Drunks' is an anthology of compositions and eight years later after a hiatus due to other band priorities and personal reasons, the members decided that the band was at an end for the moment. Fans of Don Caballero, 3nd, and Lite should be pleased with this band.
