No Life Orchestra biography
NO LIFE ORCHESTRA, from Trondheim, Norway are a band that seem to cover so many bases they define classification, blending genres such as punk, psychedlia, indie and even ska. As you'd expect from such influences they make quite a noise but stretch beyond the simplicity of punk and ska to produce something quite unique with a trashy organ sound featuring prominently alongside the bass, drums and guitar line-up, fleshed out with an aggressive vocal delivery.

They appear to be a four or five piece but seem to shy away from giving too much away using names such as Uncle Strobe, Mr South-T, Karl Max and Lieberphostheigh. They released their debut album Friday People in 2008 on Luftwaffel records.

Paul Fowler (Nightfly).
