The DRX biography
A US one-man project The DRX was formed by a drum set player / composer / producer named Dan ROMANS, with "a pile of staff paper and a keyboard caked with sweat and grime". Through several experiences of backing vocals / songwriting / jazz ensembles for five years in the North East, Dan has made numerous self-improvement for composing and arranging, while introducing instrumentation also including horns, woodwinds, strings, keyboards and polyphonic voices affected by firm roots in black metal, progressive hardcore and the balladry of rock and roll. In collaboration with various musicians, his debut album "Thesis" was recorded live on May 8, 2009 in Boston and released on his own in September 2011, followed by a studio-based EP "The Deepening Hole" out in November 2011.
