TNR biography
Italian act TNR, aka The Noisy Room, was a unit active back in the 1990's. At some point referred to as a band taking the legacy of Van der Graf Generator forward to new generations, the core members Marco Olivotto and Fabrizio Daicampi managed to attract the interest of Peter Hammill due to this, and he gave the band the occasional helping hand on both their two full length releases.

What transpired with this band isn't too well known apparently. They released a steady stream oc cassettes throughout the 1980's according to sources, and the early 1990's saw them release two full length productions. The Chessboard appeared in 1992, and two years latter they were signed to Italian label Mellow Records for their sophomore effort Samsara in 1994. But following this little is known about this Italian act, although one might surmise that they have disbanded by now.
