Fridge biography
FRIDGE are an English band formed in 1995, in Putney, England. It comprises of guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Kieran HEBDEN, (who is better known as IDM musician Four Tet), bassist/multi-instrumentalist Adem ILLHAN, and drummer Sam JEFFERS. All three attended Elliot School in Putney, a school known for also producing indie pop group THE XX, dubstep/future garage musician BRIAL, and synthpop group HOT CHIP.

Fridge's sound relies on a combination of electronic elements and post-rock, with jazz influenced drumming and bass playing. They also often use samples to establish an atmosphere with their music. Their later works see the electronic elements grow more present, but post-rock is always a main element to their sound. If you're a fan of post-rock, ambient electronica, and/or a more relaxed jazz sound, Fridge has plenty to offer with their music.
