Analecta biography
A threesome post-rock band that hails from South Bend, Indiana, ANALECTA consists of Kevin KINGERY on guitar, Calvin MALONEY on bass guitar and in charge of electronic and Patrick QUIGLY on bass and electronics.

Often focusing on the more glacial side of post-rock with an emphasis on more classical atmospherics, ANALECTA is a post-rock band that likes to play on human emotions much like SIGUR ROS and MONO. Yet, their sound is their own, more neo-classical than most post-rock bands and it attempts to relax the listener.

Touring with scores of post-rock and post-hardcore bands in recent years such as IF THESE TREES COULD TALK, ANALECTA has been releasing music via bandcamp since 2010. Most recently releasing a split with post-hardcore band CHIN UP!, ANALECTA continues to tour and does not show signs of slowing.
