Strings Arguments biography
STRINGS ARGUMENTS are a quintet from Japan that consists of guitarists Hirofumi OKAMOTO and Shinju ODAJIMA, Akihisa TSUBOY on violin, Hideyuki SHIMA on bass, and drummer Hiroshi MATSUDA. The band released their first album in 2003, which was recorded in Kyoto a year earlier. It's raw sound shouldn't bother too much the fans of 70's jazz fusion which experiments on ocassion with improvisational avantgarde jazz pieces and fusion matched with violin reminiscent of JEAN-LUC PONTY.
