Riverblind biography
Kiwi band RIVERBLIND was formed in 2005 by David Kempton, Daniel Simpson Beck and Tim Whitta. Six months after the formation they made their debut as a live act, and in 2007 they released an initial EP called "Mind Estate". Just after the launch of the EP Whitta left however, moving to the UK to fulfill his personal creative ambitions.

New drummer Stefan Sarten joined Riverblind in 2008, and towards the end of the year the revised version of the band had their first ever tour of New Zealand. They hit the studio after that, and released their official debut album "Hour of the Wolf" in August 2009. Riverblind was an active live unit following this, and in 2010 Louis Thompson-Munn expanded the band to a quartet. Six months later Riverblind officially disbanded.
