Bag biography
BAG was an experimental rock band formed in Bretagne. In 1993 they made their debut album which fused world music with the notions of progressive rock; the band was consisting of five members which besides the typical rock instruments used a big array of wind instruments as well as a saxophone that brought out a jazzy sound to the album. Not all of the musicians were that known but the drummer Jean-Pierre ARNOUX was a part of prog folk band MALICORNE later in their career and afterwards BAG was formed sometime in the early 90's. Recommended for it's wide range of ethnic influences that result in something more than mild new age, their only album 'Soudain L'éléphant' is similar to artists like MATERIAL with some influence from the likes of KING CRIMSON.
