Masque Premiere biography
Masque Premiere is a Symphonic progressive Rock band from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The band was formed 1980 by Jim Jose (Vocals, Grand Piano, Yamaha CP30, Yamaha CS60, Arp Odyssey, Arp String Ensemble, Arp Omni 2) and Forrest York (Vocals, Yamaha SG2000 Elect.Gtr, Arp Avatar, Arp String Ensemble (via Pedals), Mellotron) when they were just out of high school. The rest of the band consisted of Bruce Tanksley on Drums and Glockenspiel and Mark James on Rickenbacker Bass and Backing Vocals.

The band recorded an album called Another Abandoned Dream in 1980 and 1981. Three of the songs were recorded at Prog fan/engineer Richard Owens' Nashville recording studio Horizon Studios in 1980. (The band then entered a contest at Nashville Rock station WKDF with that material but they did not win.) The other two songs from the album were written and recorded the following year.

Jose and York have since both went on to other careers in music, but Masque Premiere did not produce another album.
