Pneu biography
PNEU is a math rock duo formed in Tours, France by guitarist Jérôme VASSEREAU and drummer Jean-Baptiste GEOFFROY in 2006. The band's sound is structured around energetic instrumental jamming with looped guitar riffs, allowing VASSEREAU to weave extensive solos. The band is heavily influenced not only by the math rock scene but also the post-hardcore scene, giving a large majority of their music a very heavy feel. Their first release, the EP Prince Crocodile, was released in 2006. Their debut full length, Pince Monseigneur, followed in 2008. Their next album, Highway to Health, came in 2011. The band took their time to release their next album, Destination Qualité, in 2015.
