Vemm biography
Vemm (Very Excited Mad Musicians) born in Rome in 2013 from an idea of guitarist and author Emmanuel ANDOLPHI, which forms the core of the band with bassist Lorenzo BEVERATI and singerValerio GARAVAGLIA. During the writing of the pieces that will make up the eponymous debut album Vemm, keyboardist Simone ALLORI and drummer David SAVARESE joined the band. The band also makes use of the collaboration of the drummer Alessandro Milone, singers Joseph White, Ruben Coco,Ilene and saxophonist Edoardo Bianchi Capparucci for the recording of the album, a concept focused on the parable of a group of young musicians, who collide with the difficulties of the Italian record industry and with the myths created by the media and public opinion. The group struggles with energy between those. The music has a FRANK ZAPPA's influence for the metrics and the eclectic musical structures. Progressive Rock, Heavy Metal, Jazz Fusion, Funk and Pop meet sometimes even in the same song, sewn by lyrical ironic and poignant at the same time steeped in bitter reflection on the role of the musician in indecipherable Italian society today.
