Slim Charles biography
US band SLIM CHARLES was formed by then students Alex Jarvis (drums), Maggie Toth (bass), Ben Mickelson (guitars) and Dominic Green (vocals, guitars). They have been an active live band from the onset, their band name chosen at the night of their very first live performance, and as a recording entity they released their debut EP Versus Fatso Jr. in 2011. Three years later the singles Strata and The Quilted Star Apple Crumble followed, the latter coinciding with the release of their debut album Small Improvements in Life and in Light. Their latest release at the time of writing is a split single with US band Ishmael, Fraidy Cat // In Life and in Light, which appeared in January 2015.
