Fernando Yvosky biography
Fernando YVOSKY is a Venezuelan crossover prog artist who had a short lived solo career releasing a single album in 1975. His music can mostly be described as pastoral prog reminiscent of PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI with a strong emphasis on orchestral instruments. His album does have flashes of a heavier prog, courtesy of guitarist Adid CASTA (LADIES WC). YVOSKY utilized the synthesizers of the mid-seventies to great effect, combining them with actual orchestral instruments to create a unique atmosphere with a decidedly Latin American flair. The dramatic soundtracks of Ennio MORRICONE can also be heard in his music.
