Ligeia Mare biography
LIGEIA MARE describe themselves as an intuitive music group, they focus on live improvisation. They tend to produce spacey, psychedelic soundscapes with an ambient nature. The band is based in the Denver/Boulder Colorado area with their roots formed during the collaboration between Farrell Lowe and Dave Willey in a modern dance production at the University of Colorado.

Ligeia Mare have recorded three albums to date?the first one simply entitled 1 featuring Dave Willey, Farrell Lowe, Elaine DiFalco, Brian Mullins, Jesse Manno, Raoul Rossiter, Bruce Orr, and mixed by Udi Koomran. Their second album is entitled Songs We Never Thought Of featuring Dave Willey, Farrell Lowe, Elaine DiFalco, Ron Miles, Ernie Crews, and mixed by Bob Drake. The third album is entitled Amplifier featuring Dave Willey, Farrell Lowe, Elaine DiFalco, Ron Miles, Mark Harris, and Raoul Rossiter.

MARK HARRIS: Sax, Flute, Percussion - Is Assistant Professor of Studio Saxophone and Improvisation at Metro State University of Denver and plays with Hamster Theater & Thinking Plague
RAOUL ROSSITER: Drums, Percussion - Drummer with Hamster Theatre and Ginga, as well as the Dexter Payne Quartet
