Cynosura biography
Swiss band CYNOSURA was formed in 2006 by composer and musician Craig McConnell, originally a Scot who chose to relocate to Switzerland following a a few years of living in the United States. Joining him in this project was Christophe Colliard (guitars, vocals), Christian Sallin (bass), Jean-Paul Gazerro (keyboards, vocals) and Edouardo Andrade (drums, percussion, vocals). Unforunately McConnell was diagnosed with the motor neurone disease ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's disease) not long after, and the band project as such was shelved due to this. McConnell passed away in 2011 due to this disease, and the sole album credited to the band, "431", was released as a digital album shortly after his passing.
