Water's Edge biography
WATER'S EDGE is an instrumental progressive metal act founded in 2011. Based out of Rhode Island, guitarists Alex QUAGLIERI and Adam FAGUE got together in late 2010 to compose music as a studio project. Then in 2011 drummer Max COUTO and bassist Trey FRIEND completed the lineup, evolving the project into a full-fledged band. In July of 2011 they recorded their first full-length effort, ''Drifting'' and the following year ''An Abstract Collapse'' was released. Their style of music incorporates technical riffing and virtuoistic soloing with jazz influenced quieter passages. Fans of acts such as ANIMALS AS LEADERS, MESHUGGHAH and THE CONTORTIONIST may find much to enjoy here.
