The Night Sea picture
The Night Sea biography
THE NIGHT SEA is an improv music project from Los Angeles, headed by Peter Walker (guitar) and Dan Kincaid (keyboards). Both are exploring the creative process, hereby collaborate with several like-minded musicians from the scene, first and foremost to name multi-instrumentalist Kenny Lyon, but also diverse drummers and even wind instrument contributors.

Since early 2016 they are releasing diverse session recordings via Dangerbird Records, a complete set or at least parts, played in one go in general. All of them are providing inspiration and clever interplay. Stylistically THE NIGHT SEA output can be desribed as jamming psych/space music, featuring a jazzy touch and courage of experimentalism. Regarding approach and sound somewhat akin to bands like Teeth Of The Sea, Lumerians, The Drift.
