huge
3 stars I'm not sure what attracted me to this group, apart from the tag of 'neo prog'. A thoroughly enjoyable excursion though.

But a problem - neo retrogressive is a more apt genre. Very Simple Minds and even The Cure sound, with a very eklectic drumming style akin to early electro pop (sorry Nick). It has a very eighties sound. However with the grumblings aside the album does grow on you and is actually very good. Albeit stretched with some tracks passing their ending time. If this had been released perhaps 10 years earlier it would have hailed as an absolute classic, but as an early nineties release it sounds very retrospective.

However it is an album worthy of listening to and certainly showcases some sublime keyboards and bass playing, as a supporter of Arena, Pendragon, Landmarq, et al, this group snugly fits into the same category, and is equally as listenable. I give it 3 stars, but to any Nolan, Arena or Pendragon supporter add at least 1 more star.
