4 stars Here'a a masterpiece from the Montreal underground scene. Every track here is an absolute gem, although I'd have to say "Counting Sheep" is my personal favorite. It's a shame that a band so talented can be still so unknown as to this day, but I hope the day will come when they'll get more recognition (at least on this site). This is no virtuoso band, but really one focused on the ambiences they can create with their music. That being said, the musicianship is excellent and the cellos especially contribute a lot to this band's unique sound. They've been categorized as post rock, but it's really because of the lack of a better term, as I've never heard something quite similar to this.
