Finally!10 years after the blistering debut album,CEA SERIN is back with another release,which proves thet we have to be patient,because sometimes miracles are happening in music too!Definitelly,this amazing come back album is quite unexpected and that's trully fantastic!With the pretentious and suggestive title THE VIBRANT SOUND OF BLISS AND DECAY,our beloved American band is back in business and they are doing this in big style!Definitelly,there are plenty of magical moments on the album,there are moments of pure delightmend and enchantment,old and new CEA SERIN fans will be spoiled to hear again the magic of their beloved band!This unique CEA CERIN sound,with moments of melancholy and deception,then some unbelievble complex musical arrangements-all the ingredients are present on this superbe album!I can consider there is a major improvement compared to the impressive debut album,under all terms-musical concept,performance,complexity and musical ideas-everything is at a superior level!ICE-for example,is one of the most sensitive and melancholic compositions I've ever heared-superbe piano work and great atmosphere!The monster 20 minutes track-WHAT FALLS AWAY-is the culmination of musical inspiration for CEA CERIN-it's an unbelieveble complex and complete composition-all the ingredients of a pure prog metal composition are present!Definitelly,a masterpiece itself!The vocal performance could be a little better,but it fits perfectly well with the musical message of this impressive -that's true!The production is very good too,much better than on the first album,the crystal clear sound of all instruments is impressive too!I like also the art cover-very nice and intelligent too!Overall,a great comeback album,something like a fresh breath in today's complicated prog metal world-and the prove that diamonds are eternal,in music too!4.5 stars for a true great piece of pure art!
