IT CAN HAPPEN

It Can Happen is one of the better songs from the relatively weak 90125 album. It was released as a single in 1984 in an edited version with a previously unreleased live version of the same song as its b-side. The single edit of It Can Happen runs for four minutes and 19 seconds while the album version is five and a half minutes long. There is also a music video for the song with a slightly different version of the song which opens and closes with a brief spoken word section in a foreign language.

The song originated from the Cinema sessions in the early 80's before Jon Anderson re-joined the band and an early version of the song with Trevor Rabin on lead vocals exist. The latter version was first released in the Yesyears box set in the early 90's and has later also been included as a bonus track on the remastered CD version of 90125.
