3 stars An enormous eye full of mirrors.

If somebody has the guts to add up all kind of 80's dance floor music cliches, turn them around to the point of sounding as new, danceable and fashionable as they are, and yet mock the whole dance floor scene without defacing it, but enhancing its superficial glam and involuntary kitsch , well those somebodies have to be The Residents with this "Kaw Liga (DANCEMIX)", 1986, EP.

The original track inspired by "Kaw-Liga" written by Hank Williams & Fred Rose, an offspring included in their tribute album "STARS & HANK", same year, plus 2 remixes of the same, one of those completely un-danceable and totally "Resident" experimental weird, conform this fun, irreverent yet perfectly constructed and designed quasi-dance floor oriented release.

***3 PA stars.
