THE BURDEN IS MINE...ALONE

Well yeah .. this is actually an EP which offers all-acoustic setting that precedes the band's fifth album. All four tracks featured here are excellent and the music is suitable for relaxing. You might compare this with Pain of Salvation 12:5 album where the album comprises all acoustic setting as well. There are two differences between the two. First, on Pain of salvation, it represents a full-fledge album while here with The Burden is Mine Green Carnation only issued it for EP version only. Second, Pain of Salvation 12:5 offers much more energy and accentuation in terms of music as well as singing style. Here with Green Carnation, all songs are relax in nature and all have great melody. The vocal lines are comprising male as well as female vocal as background. I am sure you will enjoy this album as it flows beautifully from one track to another without any feeling of getting bored at all.

Overall, this is an excellent EP, and it is NOT a full-fledge album!
