3 stars This is for sure a good album, moreover for a debut, but still I'm hesitating to call it an excellent one. I agree to my fellow reviewer that the music is quite original, in fact the closest comparison that come to my mind would be some hybrid between Liquid Tension Exp. and King Crimson / Project X. The musicianship is brilliant, especially the guitar work is really great, as well the bass play. Just the drumming I find sometimes a bit too monotone. The lack of this album is the compositional element, there are many parts that sound rather like an improvised jamming than a carefully done composition and sometimes there are many repitions. It's quite freaky and psychedelic most of the times and if one loves aimless jamming stuff it must be the perfect record. Nevertheless the music is quite intricate with many tempo and mood shifts. But IMHO it's one these records you listen to for 10 minutes and you're thinking "Wow what a great music" but after some time while you carry on listening you realize that something is missing and it becomes a bit boring or even nerve-killing if you're not in the right mood.

Still a quite promising band with excellent musicians, unfortunately without any follow-up so far. A rather good debut album but I'd not put it on the list for "Album of the year". One could give half star extra for the musicianship, if it'd be possible. But like this, only 3 stars. (which means GOOD anyway!)
