4 stars Am I Really Here? is an old favorite of mine from the days that I started streaming prog on the net. I can't even remember the name of the website, but it was free and you could stream more obscure prog rather than the prog standards. So, I listened around, and Scythe became one of my first "Why aren't these guys better known" discoveries. And AIRH? was my favorite among the obscure prog that I came across.

After looking at what was trending in 2019, and finding Solipsystemology by T (Thomas "T" Thielen) and finding the release on Spotify, and listening to it, I started reading the reviews to find out if other people were struck by how much Thielen sounds like David Bowie (nowadays). Then I saw that he started out in Scythe. I thought I recognized that name. And so I looked them up on PA, only to see the album "Divorced Land" which started ringing a lot of bells. So finding this on Spotify, I was able to rediscover this band and this album.

I think it makes a fine addition to anybody's prog rock collection. My favorites are, of course, Am I Really Here?, Weight of the Wind, Denied--although there are some really good parts in One Step Further.
