2 stars Elevator muzak with nice solos.

Okay, I suppose it's better than that. But not to my ears. Most of these compositions are very light. Yes, there are some nice bass solos, even a glimpse of Jean-Luc Ponty. But aside from amybe putting this CD on as some romantic background music, I don't see much use for me in this album.

The only fire on this disk comes at the end, with two fantastic bass duets between Stanley and Armand Sabal-Lecco. The two bassist play great funky solos against each other over some nice latin percussion.

The album concludes with a nice seventies style fusion funk fest.

The last thirteen minutes aren't quite enough to salvage this album.
