4 stars This one is a more riff and heavy oriented piece, compared to their previous works. I was hoping to get some more "prog", but it is well compensated with a fully professional, tight mix and audio engineering work. This is a perfect example of good quality Mexican metal. If you haven't checked their previous work, I recommend you do. "Segundo Pasado" and "Regresa al V'rtigo" are my personal favorites. You even get to enjoy collaborations from great musicians such as keyboardist Derek Sherinian (ex Dream Theater, Sons of Apollo... on tracks "En Nombre de la Destrucci'n" and "Coloso") which signature lead sound is immediately recognizable. All instruments are perfectly executed throughout the whole album. The album itself might lack some extra 'cohesion' to make it easier to listen to, after so much heavy stuff. I will listen to it again and if my opinion changes, will update this review. The 'old man and the cat' (look at their covers) keep rocking after all these years! Saludos Agora!
