4 stars Antoine Fafard is a World class bass player out of Quebec having played in SPACED OUT, and he has quite the list of solo albums as well. This is one of them from 2014 and as Tszirmay mentions in his review this is a smouldering release. Basically a trio of bass, guitar and drums with some guests adding keyboards, sax and drums. The latter is Gary Husband on one track and Husband was well known as Allan Holdsworth "go to" drummer. Again this album will get your blood flowing. I mean when we get a solo album from a bass player you know he's not going to get buried in the mix, in fact he is all over this and I'm so happy to have experienced this band and album. All amazing players and Antoine wrote the all instrumental music. I love how consistent this record is, no weak tracks. So much to enjoy on each track. The sax is on 3 tracks only and I like it. Synths are hit and miss for me, but I enjoy the spacey atmosphere created by them. Not much on the synth guitar, but it's only on one track. If your into bass and drums you need to check this man's albums out along with SPACED OUT. Easily 4 stars.
